In order to better meet the needs of our applicants, the Embassy of China in Ethiopia will open a new email box addis-ababa@csm.mfa.gov.cn  for further improving the quality of consular services, which will be used for inquiries and appointments related to Chinese passport, visa for China, notarization and authentication, marriage registration, consular protection and HDC code. The now existing email box (consulate_eth@mfa.gov.cn) will be out of service by 7th November, 2022.

Please be reminded that if you still have any unfinished or pending inquiries or appointments at the former email box (consulate_eth@mfa.gov.cn), you are required to send your follow-up materials to the above-mentioned new email box. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and highly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this regard. The Embassy continues to make every effort to provide efficient and quality consular service.
