Based on the current COVID-19 situation, to facilitate the people-to-people exchanges between China and other countries, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has been instructed to update the adjustments regarding COVID related tests as follows:

Starting from 0:00 on August 30, 2023 (local time), China-bound travelers will no longer be required to take pre-departure nucleic acid or antigen tests. Neither will they need to fill the Health Declaration Form to declare the negative test result to China Customs.
