On June 10, 2025, Ambassador Chen Hai attended the handover ceremony of office supplies aided by the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia to the Ethiopian Ministry of Justice. State Minister of the Ministry of Justice, Belayhun, on behalf of the Ethiopian Ministry of Justice, expressed sincere gratitude to China. Both sides agreed that China and Ethiopia maintain good judicial cooperation, which provides judicial guarantee for bilateral exchanges and cooperation. Belayhun said that the Ethiopian judicial department will make efforts to continuously improve the investment and business environment in Ethiopia, including the legal aspect, in accordance with the consensus of both sides.
