EIIPD Executive Director Holds Talks with Chinese Delegation Head

April 14, 2010 -- The Ethiopian International Institute for Peace and Development (EIIPD) Executive Director, Sbhat Nega and Chinese delegation led by Vice President the Chinese Peoples Association for Peace and Disarmament and vise chairwomen of the National Peoples Congress Standing Committee, Yan Junqi held talks here on Tuesday.

The talks centered on enhancing the relations between EIIPD and the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament.

Speaking on the occasion, Sebhat said working together on carrying out studies and researches on the relations between Sino-Africa and Ethio-China are among the issues discussed between the two sides.

Sibhat on the occasion proposed that the studies and researches should particularly focus between Ethiopia and China, and China and Africa.

Speaking on her part, the Chinese delegation head said her association is keen to strengthen its relations with EIIPD.

She further said her association is also desirous that there should be an exchange of information between the two institutions and make visit to each other countries, among others.
