Addis Ababa, July 3, 2010 (Addis Ababa) - Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia Gu Xiaoje said the bilateral relations between China and Ethiopia has been raising high the sails of friendship and cooperation over the last 40 years.
Chinese volunteers, who stayed here for one year, transplanted more than 200 indigenous tree seedlings in Millennium Park on Saturday in connection with the 40 years anniversary of diplomatic relations of the two countries.
On the occasion, Ambassador Gu Xiaoje said that the bilateral relations and cooperation of the two countries have raised to a higher level and was fruitful in all sectors.
He expressed belief that the people to people relations will further be strengthened.
Capacity building state minister, Fikiru Dessalegn said on his part that the relations of the two countries is branching out in political, economic and social spheres.
