On August 2nd, the new Ambassador to Ethiopia, Chen Hai, arrived in Addis Ababa. The Director of the Middle East and Asia-Pacific Department of the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gebeyehu, the Deputy Director, Negus, the Chief Protocol Officer of the Protocol Department, Eshetu, and the staffs of the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia went to the airport to welcome him.
