On the occasion of the Spring Festival of the Year of the Snake (2025), the English version of the "2025 Spring Festival Gala" produced by the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia and the Film and Television Translation and Production Center of China Media Group was broadcast on the prime time of January 29th, the first day of the lunar new year, on the Ethiopian National Broadcasting Corporation. This was the first time that the Chinese Spring Festival Gala was aired in Ethiopia, and it will be rebroadcast at 11 a.m. on the second day of the lunar new year. All sectors in Ethiopia highly praised this Chinese Spring Festival cultural feast, which not only showcased the achievements of China's modernization, its profound historical and cultural heritage, but also represented a cultural exchange and mutual learning between China and Ethiopia, as well as between China and Africa.
