On April 2nd, the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia held a gathering party with the Ethiopian Wushu (MARTIAL ARTS) Federation, officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and local media attended the party.

Addressed the gathering, both Mr. Wei Hongtian, the Charge d' Affairs of the Chinese Embassy, and Ato.Ferew Shitaye, Chairperson of the Ethiopian Wushu Federation stressed that, the exchanges and cooperation between China and Ethiopia, including in the field of sports, have been greatly strenghtened over the past four decades.

Wushu is one of the most popular sports activities in China, and more and more Ethiopians are learning Wushu for the past 20 years.

Members of the Ethiopian Wushu Federation gave splendid Chinese traditional Wushu performance and interacted with the staff of the Chinese Embassy at the party.
