On December 3, 2024, Ambassador Chen Hai of the People's Republic of China to Ethiopia presented his credentials to President Taye Astke-Selassie at the Presidential Palace. DCM Shen Qinmin, Defense Attaché Liu Zhaofeng and Mininster-Counsellor Yang Yihang attended the ceremony. Ambassador Chen Hai and President Taye exchanged views on promoting bilateral friendly cooperation and deepening the all-weather strategic partnership between China and Ethiopia.
