On March 25th, Ambassador Chen Hai of China to Ethiopia visited the Ethiopian News Agency and held a discussion with its president, Seife, and other officials. 

Ambassador Chen introduced the spirit of China's Two Sessions, clarified the new opportunities for Ethiopia brought by China's new development, and encouraged the Ethiopian News Agency to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China in areas such as new media talent cultivation and news sharing, and to tell the stories of Ethiopia's development and China-Ethiopia cooperation well. 

Seife extended warm congratulations on the conclusion of the Two Sessions in China and highly appraised China's achievements in economic and social development. He said that China's development is a major benefit for Ethiopia and that Ethiopia-China cooperation will promote Ethiopia's modernization process. Sefiha introduced the operation of the Ethiopian News Agency and said that the agency is striving to create the influential "Pulse of Africa" column and looks forward to learning from China's experience in the development of new media and other aspects. 

Ambassador Chen also gave an interview to Eritrean News Agency on bilateral relations and media cooperation.
